According to the commercial decision no. 543 issued on November 6, 2006, the Court of Appeal rejected as unfounded the appeal of Mr. Dan Paul Viorel against the decision nr. 1708/11.04.2006, issued by the Bucharest Court of Law, section VI Commercial. According to the above mentioned decision, the request of Mr. Dan Paul Viorel, shareholder of Petrom S.A, whereby the plaintiff requested the annulment of the Decisions no. 2, 3 and 4 of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Petrom S.A., dated November 22, 2005 has been rejected .
