  • Full service package especially tailored for transport companies
  • Expansion of the network will continue this year in Romania with two more stations

Petrom Group, the largest oil and gas producer in Southeastern Europe, inaugurated a new OMV EuroTruck station in Arad, at the crossroad of the European roads E68/E671. The EuroTruck station concept is especially tailored for the needs of transport companies: trucks can fill up quickly and safely with both diesel and the environmentally friendly anti-pollutant AdBlue.

Rainer Schlang, member of Petrom Executive Board, responsible for Marketing: "OMV EuroTruck offers our clients transparent cost control, online route planning and fleet management, reduced administrative expenses and optimized steering of the business. This station is part of our strategy to be present on the main transport corridors, cross borders points and main national roads, while offering transporters the best services possible on their routes."

Payment is electronic with the OMV EuroTruck card and all other ROUTEX fuel cards. The fuel card can also be used in the entire filling station network of OMV as well as in the approximately 18,000 filling stations in the ROUTEX network, including 1,000 ROUTEX-4- TRUCKS stations which are especially suitable for heavy goods vehicles.

The OMV EuroTruck card offers a full-service package that focuses on immediate customer benefit. Benefits include electronic payment of fuels, tolls, tunnel charges and breakdown service as well as refund of country-specific VATs for all of Europe.

The station in Arad is the 23rd OMV EuroTruck filling station in Europe and the 3rd in Romania; the network is being further expanded along the main Central European transport routes. The expansion of the network will continue this year with two more EuroTruck stations to be opened in Romania and another one in Hungary. More information on the filling station network and the comprehensive service package can be found at www.omv.ro/eurotruck.
